(IQT-TheHague) Tracy Northup, Senior Scientist, University of Innsbruck, has agreed to speak on “Entangling Ion Traps” at IQT The Hague.
Tracy is a senior scientist at the University of Innsbruck’s Institute for Experimental Physics. She received her Ph.D. in 2008 from the California Institute of Technology, followed by postdoctoral study in Innsbruck, where she held a Marie Curie fellowship and is currently an Elise Richter fellow. Her research focuses on optical cavities as quantum interfaces between ions and photons.
