For the IQT The Hague conference, Ludovic Perret, an associate professor at Sorbonne University and a co-Founder of CryptoNext Security, stands out as a distinguished participant, bringing his vast expertise in post-quantum cryptography to the forefront of the discussion on quantum technologies. As an Associate Professor at Sorbonne University, Perret has dedicated his academic career to the pivotal areas of designing, analyzing, and deploying cryptographic solutions that are secure against the potential threats posed by quantum computing. With around 100 papers published on these topics, his contributions to the field are both profound and extensive.

In 2018, Perret’s exceptional work in quantum technologies was recognized with the prestigious Atos & Joseph Fourier First Prize, highlighting his significant contributions to post-quantum cryptography. This accolade not only underscores his expertise but also marks him as a leading figure in the quantum technology research community.

Beyond his work at Sorbonne University, Perret is a committed deep-tech entrepreneur, named among the top 100 of the most influential French innovators in 2022 by France’s Le Point magazine. This recognition attests to his impact on the tech industry and his role in driving forward the development and commercialization of quantum-safe cryptographic technologies.

Perret’s involvement in the standardization of post-quantum cryptography is particularly noteworthy. He has played a crucial role in designing several schemes submitted for international standardization, demonstrating his commitment to establishing a secure cryptographic foundation in the quantum era. Furthermore, as co-chair of two IEEE groups focused on post-quantum migration and the hybridization of post-quantum cryptography with Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), he has been instrumental in shaping the future directions of cryptographic security.

At the IQT The Hague conference, Ludovic Perret is expected to share insights from his rich experience in post-quantum cryptography, both at Sorbonne University and CryptoNext Security. His presentation will likely explore the latest developments in cryptographic research, the challenges of transitioning to quantum-resistant cryptographic standards, and the implications of these advancements for global cybersecurity. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the importance of post-quantum cryptography in protecting digital assets and communications against the backdrop of emerging quantum technologies.

IQT The Hague 2024 is the Netherlands’ fifth global conference and exhibition. The Hague is a Quantum Technology Event focusing on Quantum Networking and Quantum Security. Ten vertical topics encompassing more than 40 panel talks from over 100 speakers will provide attendees with a deep understanding of state-of-the-art developments of the future quantum internet and the current impact of quantum-safe technologies on cybersecurity and quantum computers.

The conference brings together corporate management, entrepreneurs, end users, technology providers, infrastructure partners, researchers, and investors working on current developments. IQT The Hague is organized by 3DR Holdings, IQT Research, QuTech, QIA (Quantum Internet Alliance), and Quantum Delta NL, who will bring leading organizations and professionals together in this important event. The April conference is “in-person” to ensure maximum networking and discussion at the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre in The Hague.
