Alexander Heinrich, Head of the QuantumBW Office, QuantumBW will Keynote: “From Lab to Fab: Bringing Quantum+AI to Applications in Europe’s Leading Innovation Region” at “Quantum + AI” in NYC October 29-30.

Alexander Heinrich is the head of the QuantumBW office, managing the overall activities of Baden-Württemberg’s Quantum Technology Alliance and serving as the first point of contact. QuantumBW is pooling scientific and economic expertise from research institutions and businesses in Europe’s leading innovation region, fostering a quantum ecosystem and facilitating the application of quantum science in quantum sensor technology and quantum computing.
Alexander is dedicated to interlinking science, business, and politics to shape the quantum future. Previously, as the coordinator of a collaborative research center, he established an interdisciplinary scientific network focused on fluctuations in quantum matter, connecting the Universities of Konstanz, Göttingen, and TU Munich. As a board member of the German Physical Society (DPG) he promoted the career development of emerging talents after founding the Young German Physical Society. Additionally, as an Expert Citizen on the Committee for Economy, Science, and Technology in Bonn, he contributed to initiatives on transfer, startups, and incubation.
