Amandeep Bhatia, Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate, Center of Quantum Technologies, Purdue University, will on Talk 5: “Quantum Federated Learning for Privacy-Preserving AI” speak at Quantum + AI in NYC 29-30.

Dr. Amandeep Singh Bhatia is a Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate at Purdue University, working within the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering under Prof. Alam’s group and the Department of Chemistry under Prof. Kais’ group. His research focuses on near-term quantum computing techniques, particularly variational quantum algorithms, Quantum/Classical/Hybrid machine learning, optimization, and privacy-preserving federated learning algorithms. Dr. Bhatia applies these techniques across various fields, including healthcare, finance, chemistry, and manufacturing, with an emphasis on scaling Quantum AI for heterogeneous data. Prior to joining Purdue in 2022, Dr. Bhatia was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Tubingen in Germany, where he worked on various aspects of quantum algorithms for optimization in Finance.

The Quantum + AI Summit will feature a dynamic lineup of speakers and networking opportunities. Our agenda will be meticulously curated to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing quantum computing in the AI age today, as well as showcase behind-the-scenes look at applications and platforms being constructed.
