Amazon Braket and IQM: A boost for cloud-based quantum computing in Europe

Amazon Braket recently launched cloud access to the first publicly available quantum computing device from Finland’s IQM Quantum Computers, a 20-qubit, superconducting-based QPU called Garnet. The offering represents the first QPU to be hosted by Braket within Europe, and IQT PRO spoke with both companies about the significance of the move.
Speakers from IQM, which is headquartered in Espoo, Finland, also will be participating in the upcoming IQT Nordics Helsinki-Espoo 2024 conference. More info is available here.
