Baden-Württemberg International hosting Pavilion at Quantum + AI in NYC, October 29-30

By Sandra Helsel posted 10 Sep 2024

Baden-Württemberg International will have a pavilion in the networking hall and bring together several companies from their area of Germany for ‘Quantum+ AI” in NYC, October 29-30.  The companies participating to date are:

Kipu Quantum: Kipu Quantum is a German quantum computing startup based in Karlsruhe and Berlin. Kipu operates at the nexus of customer use cases, hardware platforms, and the software layer – because quantum computers are still more than 10 years away from solving meaningful problems with standard approaches. We intend to drastically reduce the time to useful quantum computing. Their solutions enable customers to derive value from quantum computing years ahead of other approaches, i.e. not just in the distant future.

Fraunhofer IAO Digital technologies are transforming our working world with profound effects on business and society. Digitalization modernizes and revolutionizes long-established practices and processes in the blink of an eye. The Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO works together with companies and public-sector bodies and institutions to develop strategies, business models and solutions for digital transformation.

German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V.), abbreviated DLR, is the national center for aerospace, energy and transportation research of the Federal Republic of Germany. Its headquarters are located in Cologne and it has other multiple locations throughout Germany. The DLR is engaged in a wide range of research and development projects in national and international partnerships.

HQS Quantum Simulation: HQS provides software for material scientists in the chemical industry and academia that incorporates sophisticated quantum-level models of the properties of molecules and materials, giving researchers the deeper insights they need to identify the perfect solution.

QuantumBW:  The innovation initiative QuantumBW pools quantum technology expertise in Baden-Württemberg in order to strengthen networks and make them visible internationally. Together, we are helping to improve areas such as health, mobility and climate protection and disruptively change markets.
