Christian Tutschku, Team Leader, Quantum Computing, Fraunhofer IAO will Keynote at “Quantum + AI” in NYC, October 29-30.

Dr. Christian Tutschku heads the Quantum Computing team in the Digital Business research department at Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO. He studied physics and completed his doctorate at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg in the field of theoretical solid-state physics. He was honoured with the Röntgen Science Award for his dissertation on the role of quantum anomalies in topological materials.
His research centres on application-oriented, holistic quantum software engineering and the connection to interfaces with machine learning methods as well as the transfer of knowledge to the expanding quantum computing ecosystem. To this end, together with Fraunhofer IAF, he coordinates the ‘Competence Center Quantum Computing Baden-Württemberg’ (KQCBW), which supports companies and organizations in preparing for the use of quantum computing with the help of a training program.

IQT’s first QUANTUM + AI conference and exhibition covering the coming revolution of combining quantum computing with Artificial Intelligence (AI). QUANTUM + AI takes place October 29-30, 2024, in New York City.

Quantum computing and AI are highly synergistic. Quantum computing having the potential to significantly enhance AI capabilities. Quantum AI combines the power of quantum computing with AI to create new algorithms, machine learning techniques, search procedure and data processing techniques that are impossible to achieve with classical computers.
The Quantum + AI Summit will feature a dynamic lineup of speakers and networking opportunities. Our agenda will be meticulously curated to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing quantum computing in the AI age today, as well as showcase behind-the-scenes look at applications and platforms being constructed.
