Daniel Mo Houshmand, known as Mo, is the CEO of QDaria, a pioneering quantum computer startup based in Oslo, Norway. At QDaria, Mo and his team bring a hands-on approach to the complex world of quantum computing. They are working towards the ambitious goal of developing a large-scale Topological Quantum Computer using Fibonacci Anyons, a project that could significantly impact the field of quantum technology.
Mo’s interdisciplinary mindset allows him to bridge theoretical concepts with practical applications, contributing to advancements in the field. With a background in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Quantum Machine Learning, and Quantum Hardware Engineering, he is actively involved in education initiatives, particularly in experimental quantum mechanics and making Norway “Quantum Ready.” Through these efforts, he aims to foster a new generation of quantum scientists and engineers, ensuring Norway’s place in the quantum revolution.
Beyond the scientific realm, he explores the intersection of science and art through his SciArt creations. His paintings, which blend scientific themes such as turbulence with artistic expression, have found homes in various locations, including national hospitals. This unique approach allows Mo to communicate complex scientific ideas in a visually accessible manner.

The Quantum + AI Summit will feature a dynamic lineup of speakers and networking opportunities. Our agenda will be meticulously curated to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing quantum computing in the AI age today, as well as showcase behind-the-scenes look at applications and platforms being constructed.
