ID Quantique is a Swiss company, based in Geneva, Switzerland, and provides quantum key distribution systems, quantum safe network encryption, single photon counters, and hardware random number generators. It was founded in 2001 as a spin-off of the Group of Applied Physics at the University of Geneva.
Ms. Kelly Richdale has 25 years of operating, management and sales & marketing experience. She has been working in the security industry for 18 years, focusing on cryptography, network security, identity management and strong authentication solutions. Prior to joining ID Quantique in 2010, Ms. Richdale held the role of Managing Director International Operations of Bioscrypt, the enterprise access division of L1 Identity Solutions (now Sagem-Safran). In 2001 she founded the company A4Vision, specialising in 3D face recognition, which was acquired by Bioscrypt in March 2007.
Ms. Richdale holds an MBA from INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France), a degree in modern languages (Russian & German) from Cambridge University and a CISSP certification from (ISC)2. She is advisory board of the EPFL’s EMBA course, and is a scientific board member and lecturer at the Infosec course at the University of Geneva. She is also a member of the Innovation Council of Innosuisse, the agency responsible for science-based innovation in Switzerland.
