IQT Research, a New York-based industry analysis firm, predicts substantial growth in the quantum sensor market, with projections of an increase from $743 million in 2023 to $1.9 billion by 2032. The report “Quantum Sensors: Market Evolution 2023 to 2032” highlights business opportunities and strategies in this sector, covering a range of devices across diverse markets such as defense, healthcare, and navigation. Currently, the market is dominated by quantum magnetometers and medical applications, but this is expected to diversify significantly by 2032, with the navigation/transportation and construction sectors becoming key players. The report also suggests that the emergence of the Quantum Internet-of-Things (QIoT) could further accelerate market growth if challenges like the miniaturization of quantum processing units and the development of a Quantum Internet are overcome.
