(IQT-NYC) Katiuscia Cassemiro, Co-Managing Editor of PRX Quantum, American Physical Society; has agreed to present on Panel 1: Trends in Quantum Computer Cooling Systems at 1:40 at May 18 at IQT-NYC Online.
Katiuscia has vast experience in cutting-edge research and technology, having implemented several photonic platforms enabling new studies of quantum characteristics of light. She received her Ph.D. in 2008 from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. She held a Humboldt fellowship, working as a postdoc at the Max-Planck institute. In 2011, Katiuscia joined the Federal University of Pernambuco (Brazil), where she obtained her tenure. For her early-career work, she is awarded the “For Women in Science” prize (L’Oréal-UNESCO—Brazilian component). Katiuscia joined the American Physical Society in 2015 and is now the co-managing editor of PRX Quantum.
