(IQT-SanDiego) Kees Eijkel, Business Development Director, QuTech, Delft University of Technology. will serve as Chairperson of IQT-New York Quantum Cybersecurity October 25-27. This follows his widely acclaimed chairmanship of IQT-San Diego Quantum Enterprise in May 2022 and IQT-The Hague in February 2022.
Kees Eijkel is Business Development. Director at QuTech, the Delft quantum institute founded by the Technical University of Delft and TNO. Before that, he was president of Kennispark Twente, the science park and innovation ecosystem in and around the University of Twente and Saxion University of Applied Sciences, and technical-commercial director of the MESA+ Institute of Nanotechnology. His education is in Mathematics (MSc University of Amsterdam) and Engineering (PhD University of Twente). Kees has held several positions in organizations to support commercialization and startups, including public venture funds.
IQT Fall New York 2022 is the first international conference and exhibition focused on QUANTUM CYBERSECURITY. Nine vertical topics encompassing more than 40 panels and talks, curated by IQT Research’s Lawrence Gasman, will provide attendees with a deep understanding on the current impact of quantum technology on cybersecurity and how it will evolve. Cybersecurity is of growing importance to business, government, and the intelligence/military in a world of hacking and geopolitical instability.
