Peter Viereck, a seasoned business development expert specializing in high-tech industries, is set to contribute his extensive knowledge at the upcoming IQT Nordics conference. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, Viereck brings a wealth of experience from his time as a Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors member across various sectors including optics, electronics, software, and data communications, enriched by 15 years in management consulting.
Since 2016, his career has pivoted towards Quantum Technologies at the Niels Bohr Institute. Viereck has been instrumental in harnessing quantum technologies for commercial and academic applications, significantly contributing to the sector’s growth in Denmark. He played a crucial role in the recent formation of the Danish Quantum Community, which aligns stakeholders from academia, industry, and trade organizations to synergize efforts in advancing quantum technology.
