Philippe St-Jean; CEO and Co-Founder, Nord Quantique; will speak on “Quantum Error Correction – The Path to Fault-Tolerance Through Built-In Redundancy and Bosonic Codes”.
Co-Founder of Nord Quantique, Phil obtained his PhD in Physics from Université de Montréal and spent 12 years working in the financial sector. During that period, he invested in D-Wave Systems, arguably the first quantum hardware company. He was a member of its board of directors from 2015 to 2019. Today, his role is to ensure that our company stays aligned with its long-term goals, and has the means to achieve them. Away from the office, he enjoys cross-country skiing, cycling and cooking with a wood-fired oven.
