Quantum and classical: Hybrid supercomputing shows the way forward

At this month’s ISC High-Performance computing event in Hamburg, Germany, Nvidia showcased its ongoing plans to leverage its CUDA-Q programming platform to help accelerate quantum computing efforts at national supercomputing centers around the world, plans which include the deployment of a QuEra quantum computer alongside an Nvidia-powered GPU supercomputer in Japan. Both Nvidia and QuEra recently talked about the significance of this hybrid model.
