Eviden Rolls Out Post-Quantum Cryptography HSMaaS to Address Emerging Threats

Eviden announced on October 8 PQC HSMaaS, its EU sovereign, post-quantum cryptography Hardware Security Module (HSM) as a Service, powered by the Eviden HSM Trustway Proteccio brand.
This secure, cloud-independent solution is the only HSM available on the market today which is based on ANSSI’s (Agence Nationale de la Sécurité des Systèmes d’Information) Highest Security Qualification (“reinforced qualification”), thereby providing businesses with the highest level of security possible.
In addition to being based upon one of the most certified HSM on the market, Eviden’s PQC HSMaaS supports Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) algorithms, providing encryption that is future-proof against the advances of quantum computing.
As a fully EU sovereign solution, Eviden’s PQC HSMaaS is hosted in resilient, sovereign data centers in France and managed by French teams, ensuring full control over sensitive data. This minimizes dependence on public cloud providers, reinforcing both data sovereignty and regulatory compliance. Furthermore, Eviden’s PQC HSMaaS helps businesses meet the stringent requirements of the NIS22 Directive, securing sensitive data with robust encryption practices that guarantee confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

TreQ Secures $5M Seed Round to Scale Quantum Computing Infrastructure for Global Clients

TreQ Global Inc. announced October 8 that it closed an oversubscribed seed round, raising over $5 million. Engineers at TreQ design, manufacture, and operate bespoke, open-architecture quantum computing clusters. The company serves clients building on-premises quantum-readiness infrastructure for businesses, institutions, and communities worldwide.
Lavrock Ventures led the round, with Creator Fund, Green Sands Equity, and Firstminute Capital joining the syndicate. Lavrock’s Steve Smoot will join TreQ’s Board of Directors.
TreQ’s approach marks a departure from single-technology, lab-based quantum computing. The company focuses on open-architecture design, systems engineering, and high-level manufacturing. By integrating innovative components and processor prototypes from a variety of sources, TreQ delivers complete quantum systems that expand the frontier of high-performance computing. This enables quantum computing pioneers to de-risk their investments with capital efficient, upgradable, extensible solutions that are compatible with their computing infrastructure
