Toptica Photonics Director Applications Quantum Technologies, Stephan Ritter, will Speak at IQT the Hague in 2024
The Inside Quantum Technology (IQT) conference in The Hague in April 2024 will host an esteemed expert in the field of quantum technologies, Stephan Ritter, the Director of Applications of Quantum Technologies at Toptica Photonics. Ritter’s extensive experience and deep expertise in the field make him a highly anticipated speaker at the conference.
While working at Toptica for over six years, it’s only been since January 2020 that Ritter has led the quantum technologies applications team at Toptica Photonics in Gräfelfing, Bayern, and Germany. His role involves steering the development and application of advanced quantum technologies, a critical area in the rapidly evolving field of quantum science.
Ritter’s background as a Senior Scientist at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics (2008-2017) in Garching bei München, Bayern, Deutschland, provided him with a robust foundation in quantum research. His tenure at one of the world’s leading research institutions in quantum optics and quantum information significantly contributed to his expertise in the field. His experience as a researcher (Postdoktorand) at ETH Zürich further solidified his scientific credentials and understanding of quantum phenomena.
At the IQT conference, Stephan Ritter is expected to share insights from his extensive experience in quantum optics and technologies, using his work at Toptica as an example. His talk will likely encompass the challenges and breakthroughs in applying quantum technologies in various sectors and the potential impacts these technologies could have in the future. Ritter’s unique perspective, combining fundamental research and application development, offers valuable insights into how quantum technologies can be transitioned from the lab to practical, real-world applications.
Stephan Ritter’s presence at the conference underscores the growing importance of quantum technologies in various industries and their potential to revolutionize how we approach communications, computing, and beyond problems. His session will undoubtedly be a highlight for attendees interested in the practical applications of quantum technology and its future trajectory.
IQT The Hague 2024 is the Netherlands’ fifth global conference and exhibition. The Hague is a Quantum Technology Event focusing on Quantum Networking and Quantum Security. Ten vertical topics encompassing more than 40 panel talks from over 100 speakers will provide attendees with a deep understanding of state-of-the-art developments of the future quantum internet and the current impact of quantum-safe technologies on cybersecurity and quantum computers.
The conference brings together corporate management, entrepreneurs, end users, technology providers, infrastructure partners, researchers, and investors working on current developments. IQT The Hague is organized by 3DR Holdings, IQT Research, QuTech, QIA (Quantum Internet Alliance), and Quantum Delta, who will bring leading organizations and professionals together in this important event. The April conference is “in-person” to ensure maximum networking and discussion at the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre in The Hague.
