Ulrich Hoff, Senior Adviser, Technical University of Denmark, will speak at IQT Nordics.
Dr. Ulrich Busk Hoff is a Senior Adviser in quantum technology at the Department of Physics, Technical University of Denmark. He obtained his PhD in physics from the Technical University of Denmark (2015) where he is currently a senior staff of the Danish National Research Foundation center of excellence Center for Macroscopic Quantum States (bigQ) at DTU. He is a researcher in the field of quantum cavity optomechanics and part of the management team of several national quantum innovation projects on quantum key distribution and photonic quantum computing. Ulrich is deeply engaged in the formation of a Danish quantum ecosystem and is a board member of the Danish Quantum Community. In addition, he is a very active and dedicated science communicator and co-author of several children’s books and graphic novels on various scientific topics.

The conference will provide the participants with detailed insights into the rapidly expanding Nordic quantum ecosystem as well as an update on the state-of-the-art of quantum technologies in relation to use cases and applications. This conference will be an annual event with venues rotating between the Nordic countries. The first event, IQT Nordics 2023, will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from June 6th to 8th. In 2024, the conference will be held in Helsinki, Finland.
