As the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Zapata AI, Yudong Cao leads the development and deployment of industrial generative AI software that delivers scientific and computational advantages to enterprises around the world. With over a decade of experience in computer science research and development, Yudong has an extensive background in physics, mathematical modeling, and machine learning. His mission is to accelerate the adoption and impact of AI and quantum computing across sectors and society. Yudong has published multiple papers and patents on quantum algorithms, error correction, and machine learning, and has received prestigious awards for his work in informatics and computer science. Yudong obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University and then joined Harvard University as a postdoc researcher.
